Maison Violet
Mr. François-Étienne Violet established the Violet Perfumes in 1827, which established the French cosmetics industry. The company has been the winner of many awards throughout its existence and has held multiple inventions, including one for Thinace soap.
Violet, which had multiple locations in Paris, gained particular popularity for its 12 Boulevard des Capucines store. Put your eyes shut and allow Violet Parfums to take you back in time to the 1800s.
Travel back in time to the period when Empress Eugenie officially purchased from this luxury fragrance company. Three youthful businesspeople have revived the Maison since 2016.
Journey
Violet's royal dedication characterized the first half of the 1800s. It turned into the official supplier of Empress Eugenie and Queen Isabel II of Spain. As a result, the Empress's emblem, the bee, was painted on every bottle and developed into a significant trademark. The store adopted the name "To the Queen of Bees - Violet House" to prove its legality in 1858.
Louis Claye, the Director of Violet at the time, was given special recognition for his work by the committee of the 1867 World Fair, which awarded many House items. Violet was one of the biggest French perfume businesses at the time of Louis Claye's passing. When Aaron-Marc Rehns took over as the company's CEO in 1885, Violet went public on the French stock exchange.
After that, the business started to export. Extant in numerous nations worldwide, it is also known by the name Veolay in the United States. With more than 250 workers in its factories, it developed into a significant industry.
Three friends decided to rebuild this historic French fragrance while sitting on benches at a Parisian perfume school. The name "rebirth" came from Victorien, Paul, Anthony, and Violet becoming their successors.
Despite having diverse profiles, they were both passionate about history and perfume. Their complimentary qualities as friends and coworkers have enabled them to construct a contemporary brand while honoring Violet's history.
