Independent Czech perfume house PIGMENTARIUM was established in 2018 by Tomáš Ric, a creative designer. The perfume AD LIBITUM, which was developed as a single artistic creation that represents both a distinctive smell and a glimpse at future creations that reveal a secret world of stories behind each fragrance, became the initial building block and the brand's presentation.

Journey

An appreciation of the work of major figures who creatively characterized the world of the first half of the twentieth century had a huge influence on their early work. Especially those designers and architects whose work was innovative, speaks powerfully now and was ahead of their time. An artwork that represented a concept. The purity of materials reflects the perfection of nature. Basic curves and shapes reflected the light of the spirit. Admiration for the writers of Czech and international modernism is evident in the initial fragrances.

That was the beginning of Pigmentarium's journey. From self-expression to interpretation, a discussion based on reciprocal creativity and a connection to the ideals of modern artists. Additionally, this is how their scents served as an inspiration for the development of artwork, connecting and complementing each other.
