PORTLANDIA is a tropical flower with deliciously fragrant blossoms, reminiscent of Gardenias but with more pronounced gourmand notes of cocos and vanilla.
In this special edition, we bring you, Portlandia platantha. The tree is an IUCN Critically Endangered species in the coffee family (Rubiaceae) with deliciously fragrant, trumpet flowers. These striking trees are currently known from only a single documented locality and the wild population is in steady decline. After studying these plants in the wild and in botanic gardens, BARUTI reconstruct their scents in their laboratory for your enjoyment.
